Swank Movie License Approval
Please note that we need your support on a key agenda item—approving the Swank movie license, which will allow us to host movie nights and provide our faculty and staff access to a wide selection of films.
Nominating Committee & Executive Board Elections
Looking to get more involved? Our final association meeting of the year is in April and will include PTA Executive Board elections. We’re currently forming the Nominating Committee to vet potential candidates. If you’re interested in running or learning more, please reach out! We also have open positions available now, so this is a great opportunity to finish the term and consider running for a full position next year.

Snowy Owl Expectation Focus
Our goal at Sonia Sotomayor Elementary School is to create and maintain a positive and safe learning environment for all and hold students accountable for being positive forces within our school community. The Snowy Owl Expectations are taught, modeled, and practiced throughout all grade levels and locations around campus. For the next week, we will continue to focus and reinforce the expected behaviors for arrival. We appreciate your support in asking your Snowy Owls at home what specific behaviors allow them to be safe, respectful, responsible, and kind at arrival.
