Winter Break
Winter Break will begin after this upcoming week of school! We hope you enjoy a safe and wonderful break with the people you love. Our office will also be closed during this time. School will resume for a Minimum Day on Tuesday, January 13th, 2026.

Snowy Owl Expectation Focus
Our goal at Sonia Sotomayor Elementary School is to create and maintain a positive and safe learning environment for all and hold students accountable for being positive forces within our school community. The Snowy Owl Expectations are taught, modeled, and practiced throughout all grade levels and locations around campus. For the next week, we will continue to focus and reinforce the expected behaviors for dismissal. We appreciate your support in asking your Snowy Owls at home what specific behaviors allow them to be safe, respectful, responsible, and kind at dismissal.
LEAD Flag Football Championship
🏈 Snowy Owl Flag Football–Congratulations to our Lead Flag Football Team and Coach Mark for having an undefeated season this year and bringing home the championship banner! Super proud of all of their hard work and dedication this season and for accomplishing their goal of bringing home another championship banner for the second year in a row.
